Who We Are

Bill Smith founded ABC Trucking in 1980, after purchasing a small transportation company in his home of Springfield MA. ABC Trucking's niche was hauling temperature controlled produce for large chain grocery stores with two tractor-trailers.

ABC Trucking companies now operate over 400 trucks and 1,100 trailers. They provide superior service to their customers from 7 terminals, offering over the road, local, and dedicated hauling as well as freight brokerage, warehousing and spotting services. The company is headquartered in Springfield and has locations in Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee. ABC Trucking has the best group of drivers of any trucking company in the United States. They provide superior service, communication, and professionalism to its customers.
